2025 AGG Conference - Mesa, Arizona
Terms and Conditions
American Glass Guild members are invited to submit artwork for American Glass Now: 2025
Please read all instructions before submitting your entry.

American Glass Now supports glass as an art form by giving artists the opportunity to experiment, show their skills, be ambitious, have a dialogue with fellow artists, and show the public what the art of glass can be. Artwork in stained glass, fused and kilnformed glass, etched, painted, and other decorative techniques will be included. Work may be two or three dimensional. Jurors will choose pieces for recognition based on the following criteria: creative use of materials, original expression, aesthetic impact, clarity of narrative, and complexity of execution.

AGN: 2025 will be held at the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum (MCAM). In addition to member artwork, the exhibit will include displays on the techniques and materials involved in making glass art, as well as components relating to history and conservation.

Open to all current AGG members.

Artwork that has not been shown in a previous AGG exhibition is eligible for inclusion.

At the end of the exhibit, artwork may be picked up at the MCAM after August 4, 2025 or will be shipped back to the artist at the AGG’s expense. Artwork that requires excessive shipping costs may need to have individual arrangements made for its return

The Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum does not permit direct sales of artwork. A printed pamphlet including thumbnail images of the artwork alongside the artist’s contact information will be provided to museum visitors. In previous AGN exhibitions when work was offered for sale, the AGG received a 25% commission. Although this is not the format for 2025, we would ask artists to consider donating a portion of sales to the AGG in the case of any sales that were made in connection to the MCAM exhibition.
